Profile of Divine S. Agbola, CEO-Republic Securities (Ghana) LTD

With experience in Finance and Investment Management, Divine has over twenty (20) years experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry. He also contributed towards the growth and development of Republic Investments, a Subsidiary of Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC. He has practical experience in Investments and Funds Management. He also has experience in the operations and management of Collective Investment Schemes (CIS) i.e. Unit Trust/Mutual Fund schemes, Pensions funds, High Net Worth Portfolios and corporate financial advisory across diverse industries. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Republic Securities, he was the Deputy General Manager of Republic Investments (Ghana) LTD, having served in other strategic managerial positions such as Portfolio Manager and Head of Managed Funds.

Divine’s experience spans serving as Senior Analyst at Emos Consultancy Limited where he specialized in financial valuation, project finance, equity and debt structuring and financing. He played a role in the listing of the Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) on the Ghana Stock Exchange and privatization of the Gambian Groundnut Corporation.

Mr. Agbola holds an MFin. (International Finance) from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom (UK), Bachelor of Science (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana, Certification in Securities from Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) and Investment Representative License by Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana.

Profile of Stephen Botchway, Registered Securities Dealers, Republic Securities (Ghana) LTD

Stephen is a well versed Financial and Investment professional with over three (3) years of experience in the capital market. He has a strong background in Equity and Fixed Income trading with deep understanding and skills in trade negotiation. He also specialized in client investment management, financial planning and portfolio restructuring. Stephen has a track record of successfully managing the portfolios of over 100 clients, cultivating trusting relationships with them and assisting them in achieving profitable growth.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Banking and Finance option) form the University of Education, Winneba. He is certified by the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) as a Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA®). Stephen has successfully passed the Ghana Investment and Securities Institute (GISI) course and obtained a license from the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Dealer Representative. He is a Registered Securities Dealer on the Ghana Stock Exchange and a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) Africa.

Profile of Patrick Edem Agama, Head, Trading & Business Development, Republic Securities (Ghana) LTD

Patrick attained over six (6) years of experience in Investment Banking, Financial Advisory and Research. He also has practical hands-on experience in business valuation, economic, equity and fixed income market research and analyses.  He is proficient in Business and Financial Modeling, Securities Pricing and Trading  (Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Derivatives), with working experience spanning major trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, IBKR, MetaTrader 4 & 5, GSE Capizar, among others.

Patrick played a major role in successful rights issues for Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC which raised more than GHS350 million and other financial advisory deals worth more than USD20million.

He holds postgraduate degree in MBA Finance from University of Ghana Business School and BA (Hons) in Psychology from University of Ghana. He is a candidate for CFA Level One (1). Patrick is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Dealer Representative and he is a Registered Securities Dealer on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
