Madeline Nettey (General Manager, Republic Investments (Ghana) Limited) -:
Madeline Nettey is currently the General Manager of Republic Investments, before her appointment, Madeline was the CEO of Republic Securities, having served as the Manager for the Financial Advisory Services Department of Republic Investments (Ghana) Limited after serving as Head of Research at Republic Securities. She joined the Republic Bank team in the year 2011.
Prior to joining Republic, Madeline managed the Corporate Finance & Research Department at Strategic African Securities Ltd, an Investment Bank in Ghana. Her rich experience in the Investment Banking Industry spans Corporate Finance, Portfolio Analysis & Management, Brokerage & Investment Research.
She has played key roles in several successful rights issues on the Ghana Stock Exchange which raised over GHS350 million in equity capital. Madeline has also been instrumental in debt placements, including the 5-year GoG Golden Jubilee Savings Bonds, the GHS80million 3-year Bond for HFC Bank, and has in recent years spearheaded among others, fundraising in excess of GHS150 million for five companies, in addition to GHS50 million for the University of Ghana to fund several infrastructural projects.
Madeline holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics (First Class Honours) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, and an MPhil in Finance from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK. She is licensed as a Dealer Representative by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Ghana.
